Tenant / Renter's Insurance

Tenant or Renter's Insurance protects your personal belongings as well as providing personal liability (lawsuit) coverage. This type of insurance is necessary because a landlord seldom provides any insurance protection for the tenant’s personal belongings or liability. Should you have a loss at either your rented premises or elsewhere, you will more than likely have to provide your own protection.

Often times you may think that your furniture is all you need to insure under a renters policy. We suggest that you insure the replacement cost, that is the cost to purchase new, of all of your belongings. Finally your personal liability insurance will protect you in the event of a lawsuit. Your tenant policy would provide this type of lawsuit protection as well as protection from other personal activities.
